Comelec, may special committee na alang sa brgy. eleksyon sa Oktubre

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, June 17 (PIA)--Padayon na ang pagpangandam sa Commission on Elections (Comelec) alang sa barangay elections sa Oktubre 28. 

Matud pa ni Comelec Chaiman Sixto Brillantes, nagtukod na sila og special committee niadtong niaging semana nga maoy motutok sa piniliay.

"We need five months (to prepare). So last week we created the special committee composed of four commissioners who will actually supervise the entire project management office that will run the entire preparations for the barangay elections," matud pa ni Brillantes.

Ang maong special committee gilangkoban nilang Commissioners Grace Padaca, Al Parreño, Christian Robert Lim ug Luie de Guia. 

Giingong apil niini ang registration partikular sa Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) polls, pag-imprenta sa mga balota ug pagsapinal sa kalendaryo sa mga aktibidad nga target ipagawas karong Miyerkules.

DoH, DILG, DepEd ug DOST, milagda og kasabotan

alang sa programa sa pagbatok sa dengue

TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol, June 17 (PIA)--Milagda ang Department of Health (DoH) og kasabotan tali sa Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Department of Science and Technology (DOST) ug Department of Education (DepEd) alang sa programa sa pagbatok sa dengue.

Ubos niini, pangunahan sa DILG ang mga barangay sa mga clean-up campaign samtang ang DepEd ug DOST usab ang bahala sa pagbutang og mga trap sa lamok sa mga tunghaan.

Padayon ang pasidaan sa DoH nga posibleng mosaka pa ang mga kaso sa dengue sa nasud sa mga mosunod nga buwan.

Matud pa ni Health Secretary Enrique Ona, Agosto ug Setyembre ang kasagarang ‘peak season’ sa dengue sa nasud.

Tungod niini, gipalapdan pa nila ang ilang kampanya batok sa maong sakit ilabi na sa mga high risk area sama sa mga urban center nga walay environmental management sa mga household waste.
