‘red tape’ ug ‘identity theft’ – Palasyo

TAGBILARAN CITY, Aug. 6 (PIA)--Giseguro sa Palasyo nga dakong tabang batok sa “red tape” ug “identity theft” ang Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) Act nga gitakdang lagdaan karong adlawa ni Presidente Rodrigo Roa Duterte.

Matud pa ni Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque, ubos sa maong bag-ong balaod, dili na kinahanglan pa sa usa  ka “Juan de la Cruz” nga magprisintar og daghang identification cards sa matag transaksiyon sa gobyerno.

Dugang pa ni Roque nga pinaagi sa national ID system, magbaton og matinud-anon ug mas  epektibong serbisyo publiko tungod kay mahimong paspas na ang transaksiyon sa gobyerno.

Matud pa nga pangbatok usab kini sa “identity theft” o pagpangilad tungod kay mas protektado na ang mga personal nga impormasyon.

Karong hapon gipaabot nga mahimo nang balaod ang national ID system bill human kini  maratipikahan sa duha  ka kapulungan sa Kongreso niadtong katapusang semana sa Mayo.

For the ordinary Juan de la Cruz, the signing of this Act means that he will no longer have to present multiple identification cards simply to prove his identity.
